Bird
House Plans
We have plans available
for free, but we want to let you know that our bird houses are cheaper
and better than what you might build yourself. Nevertheless, the best
thing is that you want to put up bird houses in your yard. So, build it
yourself following our bird house plans below, or buy one or more from
us using the links on the rigth.

The image above shows
an outline for building a garden bird box. You should select the entrance
diameter to match the bird you wish to attract. You can read about the
garden bird box here.
We believe it is
cheaper to buy a bird house from us than to try and build one yourself.
If you follow the outline above, you will still be missing the predator
guard, the ladder to help the chicks exit the box when they are ready
to fly, and the entrance reinforcement plate that prevent woodpeckers
or other birds form enlarging the entrance.
We will be looking
into offering a similar drawing for our starling bird house soon.
When calculating
the cost to build your own bird house, you must include all the material
and oil treatment of the wood so the house will last more than one season,
and then hope to avoid making any mistakes in the process. If you have
to drive for more material, maybe even more than once, your home built
box will be much more expensive than buying one from us. |
