The Starling bird house comes with a 50mm entrance plate that
also serves as reinforcement, effectively preventing woodpeckers
or other birds from enlarging the entrance. Other security features
include a predator guard and an internal ladder to assist the
chicks when they are ready to leave the nest.
Bird friendly.
An internal predator guard protects both the adult birds and young
chicks against their enemies. To assist the chicks in leaving
the house safely, when they are ready, there is an integrated
internal ladder. Air intakes in the bottom of the box facilitate
proper ventilation.
Easy to use.
The Starling bird house weighs less than 250 grams and is much
easier to mount than traditional bird houses made of wood, especially
when you want to mount several of them on the same tree
or pole. The Starling Box is easily assembled without the
use of tools, just follow the short assembly and use guide.
Durable.
The Starling bird house last much longer than traditional wooden
boxes. The Starling Box is made from the environmentally friendly
polypropylene, known from toys, softdrink bottles and toothbrushes.
The color and design of the box blends very well with nature,
